I am incredibly thankful to all the people that supported the AW Cross Country team this year. For everyone that wished a Titan runner good luck, for the select few who saw the Titans race, for the teachers that gave a titan runner a high five in the halls, for the parents and fans who helped make signs in the halls, for the managers who volunteered their time to take splits in the freezing cold and scorching heat, for the parents who made last minutes meals for pasta parties, for the business that so graciously donated to the team, for all the people who tweeted and facebook posted about us, for the local newspapers that covered us, for all the people that made their returns feel special from winning sections and state, for the fire departments of Annawan and Kewanee, for my assistant coaches that have dedicated their last 5 months to the Titans success...THANK YOU for again making this a special season fro the guys and girls. None of our success, none of our tradition happens without your support. And.... for the many of you who never got to see the Titans run, there is next year. I promise that you will enjoy the creativity, art, beauty, and passion of a cross country race. One meet will make you a fan the rest of your life...it did to me! THANK YOU!!!!
