I am just in awe, on all the hysteria over this 11 year old boy singing the American National Anthem… After watching his performance, I’m committed to say; that it was one of the very best I have ever seen. With my 35 years of military service, I have attended many, many, many US military ceremonies, from as close to home and in Washington DC, to around the World, where the American National Anthem is always done accurate with the highest respect! This kid has just nailed it. It is always with the Greatest Honor to be chosen to sing the American National Anthem at any event. Singing the National Anthem, you should first have pride in your appearance… This kid has Pride… and a marvelous voice… To me… it is a disgrace if you show up to sing it, in a T-shirt and jeans, even at sporting events!… check out some of the worst and embarrassing performances on the internet… most are well known professional American performers and over the age of 12. This kid has spunk. Sebastian De La Cruz is as American as any of us can make out to be. Unfortunately, the rest of the World is laughing at our priorities…
