I am livid now! This is now the second call I receive with regards to my incident at Zwartkops.. According to medical records I have been in a motor vehicle collision.. The details of the incident is unknown to the people receiving the information. So their goal is to call you to get you to sign up with them to institute a third party claim against the Road Accident Fund. In other words, they are simply ambulance chasers or claim touts! So first this lady starts by confirming my details and the details she tries to confirm is 100% information ONLY available at my medical aid, Polmed. So obviously I start questioning her as to where she got the info and what this is for.. And she starts by saying: Lawyers take 60% of your claim when you lodge a claim with the Road Accident Fund. I ask her where she got this bullshit info and know that she is generalising about something she has no clue about and that I actually work as an expert in this industry. Eventually she puts the phone down in my ear... Apparently they are the National Accident Claim Fund or something. If I was an attorney I would lodge a class action for deformation of character! ADVICE: Whenever you receive a call such as this send them to hell and go see an attorney yourself. If you dont know anybody please contact me and I will give you a list of respectable attorneys that will handle your matter. Just please stay away from these types of people because they are the ones that signs deals on the quantum of your claim!
