I am looking for housing in Berkeley, or Oakland. I am a gregarious, respectful, introspective, compassionate and studious father of a wonderful seven year old girl. She is the love and focus of my life. Last year she stayed with me three nights a week. My most recent career incarnation is a teacher. I am about to start at San Leandro High School teaching Algebra II and Geometry. I dont smoke or have any pets. I am a regular coffee drinker who occasionally enjoys a beer. I am an omnivore that loves to cook and share meals. (I do not eat mammals. My personal philosophy is that I only eat what I could kill myself.) In the last six months I have been developing a mindful practice. My politics are very left - anti racist, pro gay, feminist, socialist, and green. Malcolm X, John Brown, Eugene Debs, Howard Zinn, and James Baldwin are a few of my favorite Americans. I have not really been an activist for ten years. My BA is in art. I think that I am a fair communicator and I am alway striving to be better. I would love to join a child friendly house hold or join with other single parents.
