I am neither a Dem nor a Republican....in fact, I find the behavior of the majority of the higher office holders of both parties, to be rather reprehensible people......on both a state(Texas), and a National level......dont let my appearance fool you. I am a dad. I am pretty much as I was in my views as when I lived in Austin from 70 to 80, albeit with some of the conservative leanings that come with being a father..... Funny, of my friends, I have one who is a card carrying conservative in 2014, who was most likely carrying something else and looking over his shoulder in 73......and I have a couple more who made the transition in reverse..........To each his own.
