I am not KJV ONLY, I will use a modern version to show the corruption in them. I am however, a KJV Believer. When it comes down to the wire of which Bible to use, I have to say the KJV is by far, the Perfect, Infallible, Preserved words of God for English speaking/reading people today. No questions asked, hands down... There is NONE, and has been NONE other than the KJV which has stood the test of time, saved more souls, and preached out of. Over 400 Years! I have studied the text line of Received Text Textus Receptus, and Codex Vaticanus Alexandrian Text. I have studied Westscott and Hort, and the translators of the Authorized KJV of 1611. I have studied the Bible, and I know what and how God thinks of Egypt and Alexandria, Egypt VS Antioch, Syria. I have studied the Roman Catholic Church, the Jesuits, and ties to Hitler. And to be honest, I wouldnt teach, preach, or share the Gospel out of any Bible, but The KJV... Why? Because Christ said this... Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Now, lets look here at a few FACTS... If you have a copy of the Nestle-Aland 27th edition, open the book and read what they tell us in their own words on page 45 of the Introduction. Here these critical Greek text editors tell us about how the Greek New Testament (GNT, now known as the UBS) and the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece grew together and shared the same basic text.In the last paragraph on page 45 we read these words: The text shared by these two editions was adopted internationally by Bible Societies, and FOLLOWING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VATICAN AND THE UNITED BIBLE SOCIETIES IT HAS SERVED AS THE BASIS FOR NEW TRANSLATIONS AND FOR REVISIONS MADE UNDER THEIR SUPERVISION. THIS MARKS A SIGNIFICANT STEP WITH REGARD TO INTERCONFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS. It should naturally be understood that this text is a working text: it is not to be considered as definitive, but as a stimulus to further efforts toward defining and verifying the text of the New Testament. They openly admit that this text is the result of an agreement between the Vatican and the UBS and that the text itself is not definitive - it can change, as it already has and will do so in the future, and is not the infallible words of God but merely a stimulus to further efforts. I have faith! But... That is until you show them the corruption in the bible they use and their church uses... Then they say, we dont have Gods true infallible pure preserved words today. We lost them with the originals. Um, AGAIN, you realize, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV). Its seen throughout the Bible there are and were many copies of the scriptures used! Think Paul sent Timothy on his own without scriptures to preach and teach from? Paul was the only one who had a copy of the scriptures? When Paul left Antioch, did he leave without a copy of the scriptures? Maybe he left those in Antioch without a copy? I Doubt it, sense that was the Central Command Center of Christianity sort of speak. You know, the same place where the text for the KJV came from! *Shall I remind you the text for your modern bibles came from Egypt, where God wouldnt allow His people to even buy or trade anything from there, including horses.* Let me remind you what God said... The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (Psalms 12:6-7 KJV) I have to shake my head... Because when they think, and say such Nonsense like We dont have Gods pure, infallible, preserved words today, they dont realize they are calling God a Liar, when He promised us 3 times(Matthew, Mark, and Luke) that His words would never pass away! Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35 KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. (Mark 13:31 KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. (Luke 21:33 KJV) The reason they make excuses is because they refuse to come to reality, they have been deceived, even when Christ Jesus and Paul told them it would and could happen. But they refuse to let go of their own self-righteousness and pride to change. Sad that these Christians seem to love to preach the words, but not keep and practice them. They claim to have faith in God, but not on the part about His words, oh no!!! If they did, they would convict themselves. So, its easier to make excuses rather than change. If they truly believe their Modern version is correct with these missing verses, why not re-number them instead of skipping over and leaving foot notes confusing people? I mean, IF you truly believe they shouldnt be in there, re-number your verses! For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV) But, because they dont re-number their verses, shows that they are wrong, and just simply dont want to admit it, because then again, it would convict them, showing that what they believe and practice isnt BIBLICAL! And not to mention, Because their Bible is not of God but of the evil Roman Catholic Church (Jezebel as mentioned in Revelation chapter 2 and Mystery Babylon in Revelation chapter 17:). The Roman Catholic Church will NEVER come to accept the truth. Thats why during Jacobs Trouble they will go through Gods Wrath, and all your BABBLE BUILDINGS and believers that follow her... You know, as the Book of Revelation explains it, Fornicating with her(Revelation 17:2-6), Lay in bed with her(Revelation 2:20-29). Its sad, that as we say today, wool has been pulled over their eyes. or as the Bible says, Scales cover their eyes, these so called Christians cant seem to add the facts together, and rather be led blind by following man and Traditions, rather than Following God. As for me...? I read and study the Bible, and if peoples studies, opinions dont line up, I Throw It OUT! I follow God, and His words... Not Man, and his OPINIONS and/or TRADITIONS! I believe in the absolute sovereignty of God in ALL things and I believe He has in fact kept ALL of His Promises including giving us His pure infallible preserved words to us English speaking/reading people. Its called the Authorized King James! Why else would all the corrupt Modern versions try and compare themselves to it? God Bless
