I am not a democratic or a republican. In fact both are the same in my view as they are both "statists" which I am not. It is not that I do not wish to help people as some would like to claim. It is not that I am a greedy money grubbing capitalist as others would claim I just believe that forceful coercion is wrong and creates the problem. The question I posit to you is this one: What if instead of spending billions on violent enforcement of tax laws forcing "tax dodgers" to pay, instead the IRS was a charitable organization that spent that money on fundraising from individuals voluntarily? Well first we would need to change the way we think about fundraising and Dan Pallotta outlines that shift in the way we think in the video below. The answers to our problems lie within us not within government.
