I am not against Affordable Health Care for everyone. I am however - TopicsExpress

I am not against Affordable Health Care for everyone. I am however able to count add and subtract. We started out with a law requiring everyone to sign up for healthcare by the end of March. This law was supposed to provide healthcare to 21,000-40,000 We know that according to non-partisan reports 5 Million+ people lost their healthcare policies. According to reports yesterday 7.1 million have signed up for healthcare insurance. According to simple math that still leaves 14 million uninsured if we dont subtract the 5 million from the 7.1 million. If we do subtract those from the total we still have nearly 20 million uninsured people. So we have spent billions of dollars on advertising, websites and various other administrative expenses to insure 1 million people. So according to our government success is attempting to insure 21-40 million and ending up insuring 1 million while spending more money then it would have cost to insure those people if they had just written checks directly to them. For the record a conservative estimate for just the website costs @350 million dollars
