I am not big into getting in debates on here because I know most - TopicsExpress

I am not big into getting in debates on here because I know most peoples minds will never change. I have seen a lot of varying perspectives lately on vaccines. I consider myself neither pro or anti vaccine. I lean towards anti-medication unless it is absolutely necessary and have my whole life even prior to becoming a chiropractor, however, I was fully vaccinated as a child and my own 2 month old child has received several vaccinations, though is on a delayed schedule. This is an interesting article (for what its worth: written by doctors who are anti-vaccine) that discusses how there is a misconception that vaccines are the sole reason many illness are less prevalent in todays society than others. Whether you are pro or anti vaccine it is important to understand all the contributing factors to health be they environmental, genetic, lifestyle, or medically related etc... The jist of this article is that vaccines are nowhere near the sole contributor to the decrease in many illnesses that are commonly vaccinated for (contrary to popular belief) and in several countries that did at one time but now dont vaccinate they have not seen much change in the presence of that illness (Sweden being one). Just try to be as informed as possible when making a decision for yourself and your family and dont be so critical of people with differing opinions. vaccinationcouncil.org/2013/11/12/vaccines-a-peek-beneath-the-hood-by-roman-bystrianyk-and-suzanne-humphries-md/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+vaccinationcouncil+%28International+Medical+Council+on+Vaccination%29
