I am not going to post my whole top 50 list. But here is my #1 and maybe I will do 1 - 5 or 10. She was going to be #6 but then she stepped forward and said, no, #1. I picked this song for more emotional reasons and it is the 1 emotional pick I made. I will share what I shared with Tori in 2011 when she played it for me. For so long in my life I felt alone and that there was no one out there fighting for me. It was me fighting for my place, for my sanity, for recognition, for love. I am still fighting in so many ways but I found my refuge in Toris music and in particular this song and this version. Especially this line, which she put intense inflection into when she played it for me: you and your predators were warned if the cubs were drawn in for the last time you would officially cross my line For this reason, Apollo is my number one. I LOVE seeing how high she is on many of your lists. I like to think that the story I told her in 2011 is one of the reasons that Apollo was willing to come out 7 times this tour (more than all other tours combined).
