I am not looking for advice or people to tell me what Im doing wrong cause Im doing what my vet said to do. Or people telling me that my vet is wrong. I am wanting to know what his odds are by others success. So I have a4 year old tb gelding who has been off track for 1 1/2 months. He looked off so I called my vet out who is very good and works on the track. My horse has built up fluid in both front knees, his hocks are very arthritit, and his suspension ligaments are shot. She said to stall rest him for 2 months with 4 light hand walks a day then after that re vet check him. She said this can go any way. He could never be sound, or for light riding only, or with knee, ankle and hock injections may be able to do small jumps. But it would take a miracle for him to ever jump the hights I want. I want what is best for him cause I love him and would never dream of jumping or even riding him if it caused him pain. But I want to know if any one on here has had a horse with these big of issues come out of it and become high endjumpers. I am not stupid so please dont start givingme a horses body 411. All I want to know is has any one had a miracle happen to their horse?
