I am not often rendered speechless but that is what happened when I received an email from Mary Ann Pals informing me that my painting “Two Hearts” won the Gold Medal at the GLPS National Juried Exhibition! A huge thank you to the juror, Desmond O’Hagan, for this honor and another huge thank you to the organizers of the show. The show is currently hanging at the Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City, MI. The reception will take place May 16th during the GLPS conference. One more person to thank; if you are wondering why it is named “Two Hearts” I have posted a photo of the palette I used to create the painting. I toned Wallis paper with the pink and orange heart from Terry Ludwig. I have had a lot of fun with those, thanks Terry!
