I am not one to post much on FB about my own personal life but I am so appreciative to everyone that I wanted to make sure all knew. Last year some knew I under went surgery. My left kidney was removed 03/28/2013 due to a cancerous tumor and at that time they believed it was all encased in the kidney. It was a very large tumor and they estimated it probably was growing for over 20 years. Once I healed from the laproscopic surgery I felt super great. Better than I had in many years. Well this year came and I noticed some changes and when I went in for my cancer check up they found that it spread from the kidney to the adrenal gland. By May I was having adrenal rushes like crazy and so my moods were too. On June 6th I had a full open surgery and they removed my left adrenal gland. Recovery is slower due to it being open surgery this time, but with all the help and patience from my husband Sam, my son Chris and Kristen who is an Ins Agent and covered our office I am recovering just fine. They also found that scar tissue was about to preforate my stomach so they cleaned that up too. My pancreas showed signs of unknown damage so the drain tub was left in longer than expected. Again this is a metastasis cancer however again I show clear of cancer and will be unless it comes back in another organ or gland. I am not on Chemo or Radiation due to there is nothing to attack. Nor am I on any clinical trials. So that is very good news. I have received many Get Well Cards, Prayers, Gifts, Phone Calls, and Wonderful Thoughts. I wanted to be sure to publicly say Thank You so much and I feel and appreciate each and every one.
