I am not sure how this may affect Raven Coal since they have already sold their exclusive marketing rights of the coking coal from the proposed Raven Coal mine. The company they sold these rights to may be hot to trot over this news though since China has reduced its coal imports and recently closed some of their steel making capacity. Either way, they need to find another port to ship their coal from....if the mine get approved....I think we can expect that the Raven Coal Project is only the tip of the ice berg when it comes to the plans of PAPA, Regional District and the City of Port Alberni to continue to poisen and destroy what they can.
