I am now in Gujarat, the MODI state. I am not his supporter. But here you can get the fragrance of development everywhere. Perhaps it may be due to the fact that my previous state Uttar Pradesh is a backward and undeveloped state. But being a person reporting to you all first hand, let me tell you. Firstly, infrastructure is superb. I travelled from Bhavnagar to Nadiad, a road distance of nearly 225 Kms. I could see industrial smoke coming out from many chimneys. Salt being manufactured all over the coast lines. I covered the distance in flat 4 hours in a private bus at a cost of mere Rs. 260/- (A/c, Video coach). No cheating. Customer friendly. Secondly, we can see women and girls in the city at least until 09.30 pm without any eve teasers around and ladies taking each stride in pride. Thirdly, the Government is sending messages to farmers on weather, wind speed, rain, temperatures etc. Technical support is available on one SMS. Reply is meaningful and acceptable. Fourthly, Government organises KRushi Rath where scientific knowledge is given by experts and in the farmers language. Local officials are to be present, MANDATORILY. Bankers are also secretly informed to attend these RAths for developing relations with farmers and for reducing NPA. There is no news or rumour about WAIVER. I repeat no news or rumour. Fifthly, you have good hotels at reasonable prices. Lastly, I could see Industrial Training Institutes in small places with full equipped staff. All this is noted within three days. Garbage is one problem and poverty can be seen even in town. But for this, General public is happy. GUJARAT IS REALLY DEVELOPING if not DEVELOPED.
