I am often amazed at how excited scientist get when they make a discovery. There is nothing bad about it! In fact, it is worth noting that they call it discovery somewhat bearing in mind that ......there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9). However, these discoveries instead of making them appreciate the presence of a Creator makes them feel superior especially in their achievement. I dont really care how long these planets have been in existence - millions, trillions or zillions of years - one thing I know is there must be a Creator of all these. Each time I travel, the expanse of water that makes the Atlantic & Pacific oceans alone is enough mystery for me. To say that all these exists out some chaotic situation just fits the proclamation of the Bible - foolishness. (Psalm 14:1). If we are so fantastic as created beings how come we get so excited with these discoveries. In fact, we should already know it. I mean know everything! I love scientific discoveries and appreciate the understanding of scientific basis of things around me. Our problem is that we like to be in control and demonstrate that we know. Everything we make as humans is never right from the beginning. They often require adjustments, updates and latest editions after we see their defects. With my Creator, there is no need for updates and there are no 2015 edition of human beings. Regardless of colour, size, shape or ethnic origin, there is only one edition of human race. The day will come when as human beings we will accept the fact nothing exist by itself - everything is made by someone including us. Just open your eyes and look around you, there is more proof of Gods presence than His absence. Just something to think about.
