I am on Ted Talks rampage, just learned from Anthony Robbins during one of his seminars a women was inspired who just broke up with her boyfriend to call him and make-up...in a different time zone. This was his re-turn call Hey, baby. Its me. Im in the World Trade Center and -- a plane hit this building and Im on the 104th floor and its filling up with smoke. I love you very much, and Im sorry that we had to go through what it is that we went through. Oh, my God. My life is probably going to end very, very shortly. I love you, baby. Bye-bye. From a Larry King episode; they talked with the women...(he was not a survivor) it was hard for her to talk about it but went on to say the fact that in Garys last moment of his life, he had the composure to make the choice to call those who he loved. And we need to take that example and tell people how much we care about them every day, as Gary did. And use those messages that were left to people as an example that weve got to reach out and tell people how much we care about them. And, Larry, I think that if -- if people crumble, like those buildings did, then the terrorism has won. And what weve got to do is focus on the positive attributes of people like Gary and the other victims, incorporate that in ourselves and move forward. And one of Garys positive attributes was that he told people how much he cared about them all the time. Over a 1,000 call were made from victims that day...some calls went thru many other messages left. I didnt get into all the FB threads on Thanksgiving, meaning of etc.;...but fully cognizant that you never know what your last words may be...
