I am packing for what is a new experience for me. Ive been juried into The Easton plain air painting festival / contest with 54 other artists from around the country. Itll be in Easton MD near St. Michaels starting Friday and lasting till the following Saturday 8 to 9 days in all. Well be required to paint and frame 2 paintings for judging at the end of the week. the winner wins a great deal of money. I have no expectation of winning but the opportunity to meet some damn good artists will be fun. So I packing fretting shaking and anticipating. I catch the ferry tomorrow at 1:00 PM then its about an hour and a half drive to register. I have a host family so lodging is not a problem Never did anything like this before. I must admit Im a little apprehensive. Caio.
