I... am... pissed! Until today I didnt think Obamacare (I have several other words I call it) was going to have an impact on Fran and I. Found out today that our primary care physician of 10+ years is phasing out ALL insurances and going to a cash only shop so Obamas Terrible Idea doesnt affect them. Which means well have to find a new doctor by October of next year. And I have a feeling a great many other Doctors are going to start doing this too. Something Obama and his cronies probably didnt forsee. So, you might want to check with your Primary before its too late. Yes, the healthcare system is a wreck and needs revamping, but forcing (yes, forcing) people into this scam (which in turn is forcing doctors to change their practice) is not the way to go about it. They need to target the exorbitant fees that pervade the system - prescriptions that cost hundreds of dollars per pill, a 30 second CATscan that gets charged at $5,000 (true story, happened to me on my last ER visit), and over-priced hospital stays that make the $500 toilet seats the government paid for back in the 80s look like a romp through K-Mart Blue Light Special. I smell revolution in the air.
