I am posting this recipe for instant Spice Chai..Amber Gibson this is for you.... you might play with the sugar in this recipe and exchange it for a lower calorie powdered sweetener. But this is an awesome recipe for a nice creamy hot drink on cool evenings. Its my favorite... Chai Tea 3 cups nonfat dry powdered milk 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup non-sweetened plain instant tea 3/4 cup vanilla powdered nondairy creamer 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground cardamom 1/2 tsp ground cloves In a food processor, combine all ingredients; cover and process until powdery. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to six months. (Mine never last this long) To prepare 1 serving ... Dissolve 3 Tbsp Chia mix with 3/4 boiling water. **** I like my chai more spicy ... I add 1/4 tsp. more cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. And I add more mix to my boiling water. ***Cardamom is an India Spice.... you can usually get it at Walmart...it is a little pricey but a little goes a long way.
