I am preparing a presentation for a local Austin Adobe User Group. My head is filled with memories of BMUG (Apple User Group #1) back in the 90s, meeting at the Berkeley office or on the UC Berkeley campus 3 or 4 times a week to learn and explore hardware and software on the Mac. I was privileged to be a trainer for Basic Mac, troubleshooting, Appleworks, FileMaker Pro, fonts, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, telecommunications, drawing and painting, internet (back before the World Wide Web and when it just began), help others and grow in my skill sets. We used to say We are in the business of giving information away for free. I know some of my old BMUG friends are on here and I want to express my appreciation for all of you. Thank you.
