I am preparing to take a tour bus through the neighborhoods affected by the new stadium project here in Atlanta. Last night, I had to map out the route to make sure we show balance and reality. It was the most sobering, depressing, humbling trip Ive taken in a long time. I went through two of the most impoverished, blighted neighborhoods in Atlanta. Im talking burned out houses, houses with no front doors, trash everywhere, boarded up businesses, and an overall atmosphere of depression. No matter how bad things may seem, theres always someone else who has it so much worse off than you.
