I am pretty active in an RV group for women that are on the road by themselves or want to be. As you can imagine its a big change and some women have irrational fears about being alone on the road. Myself and others really try to help ease these fears and explain that they are just as safe on the road as they are anywhere. Women who have been doing this a lot longer than I have explain that they have never been in any bad situations on the road and we really work on easing these false fears and encourage the new women to follow their dreams. Then a fear monger member comes along and starts telling people to buy 6 guns 1000 boxes of ammo, and so on snd so on. I swear she purposely tries to put fear in people. I get so frustrated over this I cant begin to tell you. I dont know how to deal with this on a personal level. It really bothers me. I dont know if I just have this unrealistic expectation of people or what my deal is. I hate this so much it affects me deep so it has to be my issue. It feels like spending all day building a delicate card house and an asshole comes by and throws a dirty sock on it and it crashes to the ground in a matter of seconds. Im invested in these women that want to get out and have the freedom of the open road and this bugs the living shit out of me. Aaaaaand I cant even have a cigarette to calm down, Heeeeeeelp!!!
