I am procrastinating on my review (in English) of August Osage County; critics put down Benedict Cumberlatch for his supposedly weak American accent, but it is really Ewan McGregor who sounds lost over the Atlantic. The big problem, however, is not that this fails to live up to the stage production, but rather, despite his awards, playwright Tracy Letts is not in fact, an American Chekhov, much less this generations Eugene ONeil.
