I am profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of brother Shakeel - TopicsExpress

I am profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of brother Shakeel Hashmi at the relatively young age of 34. Shakeel was a fellow ex-Belle Vue Boys School (BVB) student who was a likable character and a very simple person. Whenever I might Shakeel he was always friendly and easy going, he would ask me how I was getting on at Naqshbandia Aslamia Bradford and my other community and voluntary roles. I did not know this but it has come to light his heartbreaking family situation, his Dad died when he was a child, his Sister then passed away and only 2 years ago his Mum passed away. Shakeel is survived by a Sister :( This news has really moved me, I cannot imagine the pain and anguish she is going through. The funeral prayer is after TODAYs 1pm Juma prayer @ Jamia Masjid Hanfia (off Carlisle Road), Bradford, BD8 8AW. I humbly ask you friends to recite Salawat, Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Ikhlaas X3, Salawat and gift it as Isalay Sawaab for brother Shakeel Hashmi. May Allah Taala through the waseela of RasoolAllah (SallAllaho Alaihi Wassalam) give brother Shakeel an elevated place in Jannatul Firdos without reckoning, enable Shakeel the close companionship of RasoolAllah (SallAllaho Alaihi Wassalam) and protect Shakeels sister with mercy and give her patience and strength to face this difficult period. I truly am sad another good person has left this world, I will deeply miss seeing Shakeel around :(
