Or just Google War and Extinction Stephen Smith. All of the chapters are important, and it is a great idea to read them all, even if they may seem a bit boring. The rest of the events and characters will not make sense otherwise, I promise! I also must note, Chapter 23- the last chapter- will be one of the most powerful and in depth chapters of the whole novel. Carexias (who you will meet in Chapter 2) true nature is revealed, and just keep in mind she has that nature for a reason. It deals with a lot of personal things Ive experienced and went through, and the demons along with it all. Almost all of the chapter is also a satire, specifically a satire. A satire is a manner of critical writing mixing both critical attitude with wit and humor in effort to help improve various things, mostly individuals or mankind in general. The type of satire, a mix of both horatian ( criticizes with sympathetic and humor) and juvenalian (more harsh and uses ridicule to a serious tone) describes this chapter pretty well, so read with an open mind my readers and open mind. It is mainly a horatian satire, and it is meant to be caring and sympathetic. It pokes fun while being serious and caring, which is exactly what the chapter is meant to be like. And please let me know how everyone likes it! If you dont, I understand, because literature is meant to be interpreted differently and everyone will have their opinions, just as I do.
