I am proud to announce that my mom was able to ring the bell following the completion of her last radiation treatment! She made it through a lumpectomy and 34 radiation treatments following her breast cancer diagnosis in late January. Being far away from her was really hard during a time like this but I had two great sisters, my dad, and a wonderful uncle that all helped take great care of her on top of her super Florida friends. Thanks Theresa Kiel and @Laura Kiel! We are blessed that all things went well and proud of our mom! I know that although there are many cancer survivors out there, there are many that have not survived. While I am excited to announce the news about my mom, my heart is feeling heavy for those that have lost their loved ones. I still often think about those that are gone and their families that miss them each day.
