I am proud to announce that today I resigned from my full time day job, and will be dropping to part time hours. Our clothing label JPorter is growing fast and has now reached the point where it can no longer be managed late at night and on weekends. With Renaes intense CA degree, and both working full high pressure jobs, we are running on about 5 hours sleep a night, often less. We have slogged our guts out over the last 12 months building our brand, and poured all of our passion, energy and business smarts into getting to where we are. Now for the next chapter, part of me is scared shitless due to financial commitments...but more of me is burning with courage! Thank you truly to those of you whove supported us so far by buying our threads and sharing our brand with the world. Hard to believe JPorter clothing has been repped by our wolfpack in USA, England, Scotland, Europe, South America, Fiji, Thailand, Bali, New Zealand, and most importantly...ALL over Australia. Id be a liar if I didnt admit my eyes are totally full of tears as I write this with the most grateful heart reflecting on the last year and the amazing people whove been there by our side believing in us.
