Did you have a lovely weekend? Weather shocking. Weekend good. New week. A couple of newish things on the menu and if I have time this morning, I might even empty the photos on my phone so that I can actually take and post some photos of some of the gorgeous stuff well have on this week. Kirsten on the early soup, scone, bread & kitchen shift this morning and the soup will be our carrot, root ginger & lemon, served with our homemade granary bread (**Ann - reminder - go to Kirkcaldy to pick up bread flour). Specials this will will include our venison haggis & whisky rarebit! Didnt even know they (in this case MacSweens again) did a venison haggis but they do so well be mixing it into our cheesey rarebit which weve made, this time, with some whisky. Its served on our own granary bread, topped with some apple slices and with our own chutney (and some salad, our toasted seeds & our dressing). Cakes this morning will include flourless chocolate cake, coconut macaroon chocolate brownies and our pear & mature cheddar loaf which we serve toasted with butter. Have a nice day. LOVE this one.
