I am proud to support the conference report for the #VA health - TopicsExpress

I am proud to support the conference report for the #VA health care bill. This report is a result of bipartisan negotiations that lasted nearly six weeks. Most importantly, #veterans who have been forced to wait for more than 30 days for care will now be able to obtain a Veterans Choice card and go outside the VA system for treatment. Requiring the VA to compete for veterans’ business is the only way we will ever achieve the culture change required at that agency. The negotiations were tough, but I know the final product will have a positive impact on the lives of our veterans, and I am honored to have served as a member of this important panel.
