I am putting out this new blurb on Zeke and hope that all of you will read it and perhaps try to help in finding Zeke an appropriate and lasting home... I realize its lengthy but so be it... I can use all the help possible to place him as the situation here at my home is not suitable for holding Zeke for any length of time... I am disabled, my regular chores take me the day to complete, my house is tiny and my husband works so I must hire someone to help me with simple in and out trips for Zeke ...and as well I must be away one day a week caring for my dad... Its not fair to Zeke as hes a pup and needs more than a crate and room to live in with visitation only. He is looking for a new home due to problems which arose from an unfortunate set of circumstances ... which ultimately led to a series of unfortunate issues and fears for Zeke ... I have had Zeke with me for a week..he has come a quite a ways but has still a ways to go... It will take love, patience and positive training... I have spoken with a number of people knowledgeable in dogs, training and some that are very familiar with rehabilitation... All feel he is capable of doing this... But it will take some time and retraining... As for Zeke himself..he is smart, a charmer and a love...he is doing very well with my goats and pony, watches the chickens with minimal interest except to watch around them... He would be, I believe, an excellent farm dog..as for kids??? I dont know..he adored my son and his girlfriend, played and ran with them... And I feel that anyone who wants to take the time to work with him will have a dog that will be hard to beat for love, loyalty and protection. Hes truly an incredibly sweet boy and so worthy of the very best home ...
