I am really disappointed in our health system here in Belize. Was at the hospital today and saw a high school student there waiting to see a doctor. She was crying and gasping for air for about an hour, she couldnt breath and her mother was trying to get the nurses attention but all walk by and said she had to wait her turn. Some were having their own discussion. She went into a lil seizure yet they said she had to wait her turn to see the doctor. I get real angry and walked into one of the doctors office and took him by the hand and literally brought him out side. That was when they started to react. Its bad enough that everyday life is a real struggle to survive here in Belize but rass at least if the G.O.B cant provide anything else for us please provide proper health care. I am not a doctor but I think at least the should prioritize these patients at the hospital. How the rass you wa lef wa patient who the have trouble breathing and going into a seizure and attend to one whe have headache. Whe the rass that. And bad nuff that she was waiting there almost 2 hours. I literally had to pull this man out of his office and cuss up noh rass fi mek deh tek care a the lee gyal. Secondly anytime yoh visit the hospital you have to wait hours fi mek deh proscribe ibuprofen and Benadryl. Looks like thats the cure for all sickness... The struggles of a poor black man. The struggle is real...
