I am really getting sick and tired of bigots using God and religion to excuse their violent acts of prejudice against other human beings. I am equally exhausted with Atheists, who are now some of the biggest zealots I know, blaming God and religion for the the atrocities that humanity inflicts on itself. Evil men and those with their own nefarious personal agendas will use what ever means necessary to achieve that which they are attempting to accomplish. God and religion is not the enemy, those who wish to exploit and harm you and the people you care about are. Those of us who have truly put our faith in higher power because we believe that there is greater meaning to our existence that just survival are not ignorant, hateful, morons, or fools. The fact is we have a greater understanding of what life is all about than most. We know in our hearts and in our minds that it is beyond our ability to fully comprehend the mysteries and miracles that exist in this universe and whatever may lie beyond. Even though we are aware of that, it will never keep us from trying to interpret the world as we perceive it through any medium available whether it be religion, philosophy, or science. We are human and on occasion we make mistakes or let our passion or anger get the better of us, but ninety nine percent of the time when examining life and everything that it encompasses, we do so unbiasedly, with an open mind, and with love for ourselves, everyone, and everything else in our hearts. If you have met anyone who tells you otherwise, then, my friends, you are talking to the wrong people. I am available for discussion at any time. :)
