I am really sad that this is the final trailer for the final movie that will ever be made by Peter Jackson about Middle-Earth. I grew up reading, watching, and loving Middle-Earth and its places, heroes, villains, monsters, and stories, so much so that it helped shape who I am and everything I enjoy and am interested in now. Part of me is sad that after this December there will never be another film made about it (unless Hollywood, God help us, reboots it). Another part of me is sad that the Hobbit trilogy couldve been so much better if they had been filmed in the same way that Lord of the Rings had been, with less computer-generated backdrops/characters and more real actors, settings, and practical props/effects, and if they hadnt changed up certain story elements and characters so much for seemingly no reason, such as Beorn being the last of a dying, enslaved race of bear people or Legolas being along for most of the ride. But, mostly I am just really excited to see the damn thing because it looks amazing.
