I am running for Florida House district 36 below is my press release which will give you an example of some of the things I would like to address as your representative. please help get the word out! We have a short deadline for this special election. West Pasco native, Jeromy Harding, is announcing his candidacy for Florida House of Representatives District 36. As a conservative Mr. Harding advocates fiscal responsibility. The local business man and fourth generation insurance agent promotes the return of a competitive, viable private market for property insurance, rather than the state government program, Citizens Property Insurance. In addition, Mr. Harding says, “I will work to lower the inflated replacement cost values which will result in lower premiums by insuring our homes at the actual cost to rebuild.” He will introduce legislation to regulate the financial soundness of insurance companies allowed to do business in Florida…..” eliminating the bailouts falling on tax payers.” Jeromy Harding is not a one-issue candidate! He believes in less federal government, and more local control. He will stand up to special interests. He plans to look into the red light cameras issue. “Frankly, I question both the constitutionality and high percentage of proceeds leaving the state. Research shows no real benefit.” Jeromy says one of his first priorities will be “relief to trapped consumers with no way to make a change from a bad private utility company with declining services and constantly increasing consumer charges.” Jeromy Harding strongly supports our local education system. He says, “I have seen the stress educators endure.” His fiancé is a first- grade teacher in Pasco County. He currently resides less than 1000 ft from the district line, but Jeromy and his fiancé are in the process of buying a home in the district. “I believe that in public office you are the voice of the people of your community and I will put constituent service first.” Jeromy Harding promotes the Bill of Rights, personal freedom, less government intrusion, and the opportunity for everyone to achieve the American Dream!
