I am sad that this overshadows Christmastide, even here in Lisbon, but I assure you that as no man is an island my friends will be asking this American expat what the hell is going on back home. My answer will be my shame and my apology and assurances that this is another reason why America is no longer home to me. IF you believe in the Rule of Law and the rights of American citizens who are your brothers in this terrible report, then you MUST act and flood the mailboxes of everyone who represents YOU and your nation to the rest of the world.
