I am so excited and nervous at the same time....I have my schedule and my student ID and going to get my books aug 13 and my parking pass about a week before that then aug 18 classes start....oh my goodness if my friends and customers at Dicks Drive In think im crazy now then by the time classes start they wont think im crazy anymore just gone totally nuts!!!!!! Of Course im not considered a nut but a cashew..LOL!!,Absouletly! its going to be very overwhelming to me but its something that ive always wanted to do...ever since my grandpa Winfred Griffith put me on a stool and in front of the stove at age 4 to teach me how to cook over medium eggs,i have been hooked..may sound silly to some but to me its a wonderful memory and at 4 years old it showed me what I wanted to do,just didnt know at that age that it was called a chef....its took me 47 years to get to this point in my life and im going to give it all ive got...after watching my best friend achieve her goals and stay so dedicated to them and school helped me realize when I was working for my GED that once I got it I didnt wont to stop there...ive always wanted to get my GED and it took me along time to get it but I didnt give up.i kept on pushing well thats what im going to start doing at RCC as of aug 18 and then when I get to GTCC to start my culinary journey im gonna be pushing that much harder...its going to be a long 2 years but when its all said and done I will be a chef and for once in my life I will feel so much better about myself... the GED was for my mom and dad and now the culinary journey is for me,,YEP,YEP....HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!!!!!!
