I am so flipp-ed sick of the negative that I have seen posted by those that seem to think they are upper chalants about the schools serving meals to the students for free this year....I am a very proud parent that this is happening and I am NOT too proud to admit it! I AM a tax payer and I am glad to know my tax dollars are beimg well spent and that my children will be fed while they are at school because they are NOT too good to eat school food! We and all others put our droors on the same way that those fussing do and I get so sick of the ones that think they are above and beyond when it has all been handed to them. This is one of the best decisions many Ky schools have made. The last thing I would want to see is a kid hungry and I especially would hate to see it because of someone elses greed! This being said, the kids deserve to be fed, they cannot help it if their parents cant afford the best of the best and they cant help it if they are still in a school system that has to pay and they need free or reduced lunch. Kudos to all school systems for taking the children and parents into consideration....we all cant eat off of that handed down silver spoon. And notice I say... handed down! Have a blessed day!
