Mr President sir, your effort to honour and recognized Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi as OFR recipient is highly commended. At least, his friends and family members will be glad to celebrate with him for been recognize for his effort in his lifetime. Rare action of this nature though if extended to other critical areas of our national lives has a way of galvanizing the consciousness of Nigerians for better and sustainable engagement. Your pseydo enemies were caught off guard on this no doubt. However, it is better this thoughtful effort is not mired in the wobble waters of our peculiar politics. Why cant the salary of Pa Akinkunmi be attached to a more stable career public servant than an unstable mere political appointee? Will the SA to Mr President remain for life? Nice step anyway but let it be given a human face. Just my thought anyway.
