I am so frustrated and disappointed. I had to postpone my surgery that was scheduled for this Friday. When they checked my labs at pre-admission, they found that my thyroid levels were super low and had been for the last three years. I have no idea what my Doctor was thinking by not correcting this, but I believe I need to change Doctors now. My kids have been telling me this for years-Kerry also. If I had gone into surgery without knowing this, I could have run into serious problems like not waking up afterwards or congestive heart failure. Thank goodness they are on top of things at Coudersport hospital.
