I am so happy that Cocos heart seems to be fine. She had a weird breathing spell Thursday night that lasted about 10 and I thought she was having trouble breathing. She had done this before but only for a few seconds each time. The first thing I thought of was her heart since she has a grade 5 murmur. So I took her in today to get an x-ray to see what the heart and lungs looked like and everything looked great. There was no enlargement of her heart at all and her lungs were clear. Turns out what she probably was doing was reverse sneezing and I hadnt seen that before in my cats or it was much less noticeable if they had done it. So at least as of now, the murmur doesnt seem to be causing any issues and the x-ray will be a good baseline for any issues that may come up in the future.
