I am so incredibly humbled at what great friends I have in Mark Andersson and Amanda Foster and new friend Jenna Davis Shelley for supporting me in my first 5K run today... They ran beside me and encouraged me all along the way - enduring every hill that was a b%#@*h... We finished together from start to finish non-stop... My time was 3:45 which is the best I have ever done! I ran in memory of my mother (cancer victim 9-13-2010) and the memory of Jack and Kenneth Burkes mother who was taken by lung cancer a couple years ago... Thanks to all my friends that donated for the cause on my behalf and for all the thoughts and kind words of encouragement on my posts... My gratitude is very deep for all of you... Thank you is not enough but is a start... I am blessed...
