I am so over 😧 people using the phrase of expression tough wrong completely! NO tough is not being mean, that is simply just being cold and unhappy. To be an empathetic person with out giving a pity party and putting your self in the shoes of others instead of being close minded that is tough. Tough is not pretending as if there is no errors in your way or mistakes and bad choices made, brushing it all under the rug to avoid responsibility and consequences. Tough is admitting when you are wrong despite consequences. Sucking up your pride and ego, and asking for help to change the situation to a positive outcome. Tough is not hiding every hurt emotion 100% of the time. Rather voicing when something is not right when being encouraged to stay quiet despite negative consequences of others behavior that is truly tough. TOUGH IS NOT TEARING DOWN OTHERS. PERIOD!!! or rejoicing in others loss,mistakes, hurt or pain. Tough IS building up! Being able to be happy for others and supportive in hard times. Tough is not letting the hardships and pain you suffered in life turn you into a cold, closed, unrelating, unsympathetic person. Tough is using those hardships and bad times to think to to your self how would I want to be treated in that situation if I had to do it over again? And treat others accordingly. Tough is TRUE happiness at its finest 😌 Mostly I find the ones who use tough/toughness wrong are truly the most WEAK of all. The ones who pretend/ insist everything is ok (or over it) with a constant cloud of unhappiness and negativity bearing the weight of their life hovering over them. The ones who are the most insecure breeding jealousy in abundance. The ones who take out their unhappiness on almost all who threaten them with thier happy nature. The ones who must find escape goats and targets they perceive as weak. The ones who try to pick fights and spread rumors with anyone who is a threat to their high horse. The ones who lie to get ahead and victimize them selves in manipulative ways.The people who are uncapable of building up. Happy to say I am tough 💪🙈🙉🙊💋
