Today I have mostly been pottering about with Alice . We had a few teething troubles this morning . First issue was the only way she would start was with jump leads off another car .initially we thought the starter solonoid was cream crackered but after cleaning up terminals and earth leads inc the starter leads that did the trick . Next on the list was the exhaust .we had welded the nuts off the exhaust as it is rotten as a pear but 3 small holes appeared .to get round this I am afraid it was a rear bodge but it has worked ! , if I say jubilee clips , exhaust sealer and coke cans you get the gist ;-) . Will do until I can afford a new exhaust .a little water leak which needed the hose jubilee tightened did the trick . She should be good for the 2 hour journey tomorrow to beaulieu :-)
