I am so pleased and, like, strong-feeling because of whats happened, through all of you, with Moneys Nothing. I published it myself because I didnt want a reputable house telling me what I could and couldnt do, like take out the much-hated bitcoin chapter that irritates and breaks form. And a very unorthodox guest intro, outro, plus a conversation in the middle that people have said doesnt make sense (yes it does! a different kind of sense). I wanted this to be the book it needed to be, not shoved into a digestible package of what Marketing forecasted would sell. Since there is not much of a DIY underground distribution network in existence anymore, and pretty much all of us are so poor, I had no idea how I was going to pay back the $5,000 it cost to print up a thousand copies. And now here I am, days before the 0% loan I took out is up, owing only $160 more, and Im FREE! There has been zero mainstream media notice of the book. Its success was ONLY from you all talking about it, asking bookstores to carry it, reviewing it on Goodreads and Amazon, sharing links, choosing to buy it even though that means you cant buy something else. I am so grateful and excited. I feel like we are this thing together, like a giant middle finger. I dont want to leave anyone out, but I have to give an extra thanks to five extra-forceful people: Tony Boies, Parking Exit, Jordan Nihilate, Chloe Eudaly, and Marc Masters.
