I am so sad this afternoon as I discovered that our old gal, Kona, who had lost her sight in her right eye is now having a difficult time with her left eye. I put a favorite chew treat in front of her face & she did not see it & even though I gave it to her in her mouth she dropped it, & this is a first. She loves those chewies. She will eat only when hand fed & is drinking a lot of water & no signs of dehydration. We are watching her closely & will not prolong her life if she starts to fail or suffer.. Right now she limps but does not seem in pain, just tired for lack of a better word. Happers carries her up the stairs as well as Wolfee. I hate this part of being an animal guardian....sometimes you watch & then you cry. We love this Kanardlee of ours...yes, sometimes you cry. ❤️
