The message you sent is one of ignorance and perpetuating the stereotype that this is what they do. Where is a black minister or leader who could have come out during the candlelight vigil and tell the mob that powerful peaceful protest works wonders. Sit-ins in the police station and city hall...Being willing to be arrested to make your point.....non violent resistance WORKS. Damn, look at the history of civil disobedience and see what works and what doesnt. You cannot win against the police....more will come, more people will be hurt and in the end, will you even remember the name of Michael Brown and why the looting and rioting started? You burned down the gas station in your community. Now what?
