Windings Family Update. Caleb made it home Friday evening as planned. Thats the good news.... The bad news is that he is and has been in intense pain ever since. The surgery included 8-9 screws, a pin and a plate. It was longer and more difficult that the Dr. expected. Most of you that know me know I am not a over dramatic kind of guy. I dont like for stuff to be blown out of proportion. BUT... I have to say this. My son Caleb is THE MAN. He has handled this whole ordeal like a real MAN and I am very proud of the MAN he has become... Most of us... including me have never endured anything like what he has been through with this foot and hopefully never will. I would take this pain for my son if I could... but since I cant I am blessed to know what a incredible young man he is. And like I said... I makes me PROUD. On a lighter note. A bunch of wonderful people threw a Bridal Shower for my future daughter-in-law today in Cobden and I appreciate you all. Thank You to all my Cobden Friends for loving Christopher and Alex. It blesses me as well. On a MUCH lighter note... I fished in my first ever BASS Tournament today on Ky Lake and.... no surprise....I lost..... and still had a KILLER good time. Thanks MIKE PARMER, TIM and DANNY YATES for letting me be apart of CAST (Christian Anglers Serving Together... who knew?) If you are serious about Jesus and catching Large Mouth Bass.... You need to join these folks. They are super folks.
