I am so thankful there are still wild places nearby...with moose and bear and beaver...where we (lulu and I) can walk in silence and reverie. Took a walk up the old logging road off the Doetown Rd. on Stinson Mountain to Mead Swamp and the beaver dam. Im even more thankful that I can walk! Have turned the corner in recovery from this broken back. Im told it will be months before its back to normal, but I can walk again. Slow and deliberate. One foot in front of the other. One step at a time. Thank you, God!
