I am so thrilled with the show of support from parents and teachers alike for this PTO! In case you are wondering, its been proven that with this organization, test scores improve and attendance is high. The kids are more eager to try harder if they know Mom and Dad are working together with their teachers. Bullying becomes less common because the PTO helps organize programs like the WATCH DOGS and small activities to allow the parents to be more active! The PTO also works within the community to raise awareness for things like Red Ribbon week, the Sack Hunger Food Drive and fund-raising for the school in general. I hope you all that can, will attend the meeting at 6pm in the community room of Petit Jean Electric Monday night! I hope even more we can be heard and get thru to our school board at what a great thing this could be for our kids and staff!!!!! #GOYELLOWJACKETS Please feel free to share my posts on this matter.
